Review from InD’tale

5 Stars and the Crown Heart for Excellence

“A powerful novel that hits the ground running, “Tribe of Daughters” has an interesting premise that pulls the reader in from the very first page. It meshes multiple ideas including a post-apocalyptic dystopia with romance as well as societal issues and sexism. The author weaves them together well so that they do not detract from each other and ultimately build upon the overall story. Initially, it is hard to tell if the story is set in the past or the future, but the author does a nice job at explaining the world through the story without just telling the reader. It is not only the world that is well written and fleshed out but the characters and plot as well. The lessons are not heavy handed, and the characters have not only depth but are genuinely interesting. A novel that grips the reader from the very beginning, “Tribe of Daughters” is a journey worth going on!”
