GIVEAWAY – Here for You: A Zombie Apocalypse Short Story

Originally included in the Gone with the Dead anthology, Here for You is a zombie apocalypse short story set (of course) in the same world as all my other zombie books.
I wrote this story back in 2016 for the Romance Times Book convention. While I wasn’t able to attend that year (we had just moved to Ohio and were trying to sell our house in Oklahoma, so I didn’t want to spend the money on the convention when things were so precarious) my story was selected for the anthology. While the anthology itself didn’t do great – the publisher really doesn’t know how to market – it was still a great feeling to have my story included. Since the other authors and I have never seen a penny from this anthology, I figured I’d give the story away rather than direct you to the anthology so you can purchase it. While I don’t officially have my rights back, the contract states that I’m allowed to give the story out, so I’ve been using it to draw readers to my newsletter for a few months now, and I even created my own cover.
