It’s week 26 and we’ve reached the end of the Twisted series with Twisted Fate!

Angus saves the world. Crazy, I know. If you read my post about Twisted World you know that I threw in the little detail about The Church just to be funny. It was supposed to be a minor detail that readers could laugh and roll their eyes over – Angus being worshipped? Come on! – and then I got to Twisted Fate and realized it was a BIG deal. Like I’ve said before, I don’t plot, so it was interesting to me how that tiny detail shaped the direction this story took. The Church plays a huge part in this book, and it was fun to explore their crazy belief system, and the bad guys get what they deserve and the story ends with the good guys living happily ever after – or so we believe.

Everyone now knows that this isn’t the end of the story, but at the time, I thought it was. Again. Like I’ve said before, I was ready to move onto other worlds and other characters, so I was pretty sure this was going to be the end of the road for Angus, Axl, and Vivian. We all now know that isn’t the case since they all make an appearance in Angus, but that’s not the only place these characters pop up. If you’ve read all the books in my zombie world, you know Jim makes an appearance in one of the Oklahoma Wastelands books, and Angus pops up in Far from Home.

It’s funny how some book I can remember exactly how I felt and what motivated me to write certain things while others I barely remember writing them. Twisted Fate is one of those. Which is why I don’t really have a lot to say about it. Oh well!
