College is supposed to be fun.

Go to parties.
Pick up guys.
Maybe get in a little trouble.

On the surface Cami is your average, wild teenager out to have a good time, but inside she’s struggling. Almost a year ago her best friend was in a car accident, an accident Cami feels responsible for. Since then, she’s made it her personal mission to experience everything life has to offer, both for herself and for Julie, who will never have fun again.

Then she meets Liam, her cousin’s sexy roommate. Hooking up with a hot British dude seems like the perfect way to start off the school year, but the more time she spends with him, the more she finds herself actually liking the guy. Which totally screws up her plans to live life with no regrets…

What’s the main difference between The List and No Regrets?

The List, book one, follows Annie as she struggles to find herself, while book two, No Regrets, follows her roommate, Cami, as she tries to overcome something major from her past, and the two stories overlap. They start at the same point, Annie and Cami meeting, and follow them over the next several months, and the same scenes are in each book, just seen through the other character’s eyes. This was kind of fun to write, because writing in first person, you’re seeing an event from that person’s perspective, which is sometimes more how it’s perceived than how it actually is. Since Cami and Annie are such opposites, there are a few times when their perspective is so utterly different that it’s almost funny.

Another thing that’s different is you get to find out what’s going on in the background of the first book. In The List, we’re dealing with Annie’s problems, and sometimes Cami pops up from out of nowhere. Now, we’re dealing Cami’s and we get to see what she was doing before she pops in on Annie in the first book. There were times while writing this that I literally copied a scene from the first book then rewrote it paragraph by paragraph from Cami’s perspective (I wanted to make sure I got all the details correct) but other times I had to write a whole new scene and figure out what Cami was doing when she wasn’t with Annie – while keeping the timeline intact.
