After the longest winter of her life, Vivian is thrilled to have Ginny back at her side. But joy soon turns to shock when the group learns that not only is Hope Springs in contact with other survivors, but the CDC is working on a vaccine. And Angus could be the last hope for the human race.

What can you tell us about the characters in Forgotten World?

We don’t really meet anyone new in this book since the group is on the road, but we do get to see how creepy Dax is – obsessed much? Anyway, by this point in the story our original group has pretty much formed a family, which makes some of the events of this book doubly heartbreaking. Dax is a liability, we know that before the group has even left Colorado, and his inability to listen to anyone else becomes a real problem on the road. Thankfully, the rest of the characters have one another’s backs.

The only new people we get a glimpse of in this story are the doctors and other medical personnel at the CDC – and we all know they’re going to pop back up later. Like I said before, when I wrote this, it was meant to be the end, and I didn’t give much thought to the doctor who comes in to talk to Vivian and Parv. At this point, she was a minor character whose only purpose was to reassure the group that they were safe, then deliver the bad news about Angus. As we all know, however, Dr. Jane Helton becomes a pretty big part of story in the Twisted series.
